Chapter I — The First Wound

Imposibilitados marks the beginning of La Parábola. It is the first territory of the story: the place where the human being does not yet fully understand the meaning of his surroundings, but already feels the weight of an inner fracture.

In this series, man does not appear as someone completely defeated, but as someone suspended between consciousness and incapacity. Something in him wants to rise, to look, to ask, to leave the pit; yet his body, his memory, and his spirit seem held by a force he cannot yet name.

Imposibilitados does not speak merely of emotional weakness. It speaks of a deeper condition: the impossibility of moving forward when truth has been obscured, when pain has been normalized, and when inner life has learned to survive in silence.

Within La Parábola, this series is the first threshold. Before the visible machinery, before the connection, before the mist and the vertigo, there is this initial wound: the human being trapped in a zone of desolation, mud, waiting, and questioning.

Here, everything begins.

The works in Imposibilitados contain the seed of the series that follow. In them, the fall, the paralysis, the pit, the mud, the loss of orientation, and the need for a spiritual way out are already present. These are not images of an ending, but of a painful beginning: the moment when the human being discovers that something within him has been wounded, yet still does not know how to awaken.

Excerpt from La Parábola:

“The body,
motionless, rigid, and overwhelmed,
speaks in silence.”

This series invites the viewer to enter the symbolic origin of La Parábola: not as someone observing a distant scene, but as someone who recognizes a part of himself in impossibility, in silence, and in the waiting for revelation.
