Mecanikalgia (Drawing) No.2
Mecanikalgia (Drawing) No.2
The 'Mecanikalgia' series is a visual representation of a crucial section of 'The Parable,' a poetic and philosophical narrative that I have been developing throughout my life. In this part of the story, Man is connected to a machine by Adam and Eve, symbolizing the forced and painful integration of humanity with technology and mechanization. These works explore themes of alienation, oppression, and the loss of identity in a world dominated by machinery.
Each piece in this series utilizes a mixed media technique on canvas and paper, combining acrylics with ink details to create rich and evocative textures. The human figures, devoid of distinctive facial features, represent the universality of human experience. The meticulously rendered mechanical elements invite the viewer to reflect on the relationship between humans and technology.
The dark and somber color palette reinforces the feeling of anguish and despair, while the dynamic compositions suggest a constant state of struggle and resistance. Through 'Mecanikalgia,' I aim not only to tell a story but also to provoke introspection on the consequences of dehumanization in the modern era.
My work combines painting and music to create a complete sensory experience. Following Kandinsky's model, I seek to unite the visual aspect of painting with the aural space of music, allowing these two forms of expression to fuse and affect the audience's perceptual sensibilities. This synergy between image and sound enriches the aesthetic and spiritual experience of my works, inviting the viewer to participate in a universe where music and painting complement and sustain each other. Appreciating my painting without the accompanying music would be incomplete, as the interplay between these elements is vital to the full expression of my art.

Recommendations or Observations:
These works are ideal for display in spacious and well-lit areas, such as living rooms, offices, or galleries. Lighting plays a crucial role in highlighting the details and textures of the paintings. It is recommended to use warm-toned directional LED lights to accentuate the contrasts and depths. Placing the works on a neutral-colored wall will allow the dark details and dynamic compositions to stand out, creating a focal point that invites contemplation and reflection.
