Errante No.3
Errante No.3
Errante No.3
One day, my professor told me, “Write a story.” I wrote a parable, and in the next class, when I showed it to him, he said, “Now I want you to paint ten paintings about this parable.”
I created much more than ten.
All my work came from that parable. The parable is a story that grows with each stage of my life; it is unfinished because I am still creating it. In it, I narrate my experience of being born and raised in a communist country under a dictatorship, as well as my life as an immigrant.
All the paintings are coded, and their meanings are encrypted in La Parábola. What began as a small story has become a symbolic universe of paintings, music, and unpublished poems.
Description:
Errante No.3 belongs to Errante, an unfinished small series within Imposibilitados.
In this painting, the figure is pushed toward the lower edge of the composition, almost swallowed by the dark space around him. The lines extend outward from his body, crossing the atmosphere like cords of tension, memory, and captivity. Above him, the light is not warm or reassuring; it feels distant, blurred, and unreachable.
The work speaks of wandering as a spiritual condition. The man is not lost because he lacks movement; he is lost because movement itself has become uncertain. He continues forward, yet each step seems bound to forces he cannot fully see.
Within La Parábola, Errante No.3 belongs to the moment before the machinery is completely revealed. It shows the human being already marked by pressure, already pulled by invisible structures, already walking through a world where direction and freedom have become difficult to distinguish.

Remarks:
Errante No.3 is a small but emotionally charged work. Its dark atmosphere and tense linear structure create a sense of solitude, pressure, and interior searching.
Because of its scale and framed presentation, this piece works beautifully in intimate spaces: a study, private office, reading corner, or a quiet wall where the viewer can approach the image slowly. As part of Imposibilitados, it reveals another face of the first wound: the human being still moving, still burdened, still searching for a way through the darkness.
