Errante No.2
Errante No.2
One day, my professor told me, “Write a story.” I wrote a parable, and in the next class, when I showed it to him, he said, “Now I want you to paint ten paintings about this parable.”
I created much more than ten.
All my work came from that parable. The parable is a story that grows with each stage of my life; it is unfinished because I am still creating it. In it, I narrate my experience of being born and raised in a communist country under a dictatorship, as well as my life as an immigrant.
All the paintings are coded, and their meanings are encrypted in La Parábola. What began as a small story has become a symbolic universe of paintings, music, and unpublished poems.
Description:
Errante No.2 belongs to Errante, an unfinished small series within Imposibilitados.
Here, the figure appears at the edge of a dark landscape, connected by tense white lines that stretch across the composition. The body leans forward as if advancing requires effort, resistance, and surrender at the same time. In the distance, a tree-like form rises from the atmosphere, almost like a memory, a wound, or a sign that cannot be fully understood.
The painting suggests a journey without arrival. The figure moves, but the space around him remains uncertain. The path is not clear; the forces that guide him may also be the forces that hold him captive.
Within La Parábola, Errante No.2 reflects the condition of the wandering human being: one who keeps moving through darkness, carrying invisible attachments, searching for meaning in a world where every direction feels unstable.

Remarks:
Errante No.2 carries a strong narrative quality despite its small format. It is well suited for intimate spaces where the viewer can pause and enter the atmosphere of the work closely.
The framed presentation gives the piece a finished, contemplative presence, making it appropriate for a study, private office, bedroom, or small gallery wall. As part of La Parábola, this work adds another fragment to the larger story of Imposibilitados: the human being moving through shadow, pressure, and unanswered longing.
