I did not have to imagine what it means to be there.
I was there. And perhaps part of me is still there.
I wanted to take hold of that image of the mire from the moment before rescue: when you still do not know whether you will get out, when loneliness and helplessness begin to distort even the way you understand your own existence.
And then a more difficult question appears:
What if none of this means anything?
This sequence was born from that place.
Here, the man is still inside.
