Elegía No.1

"Elegía" is one of my most recent watercolors and represents a deep exploration of the human condition and its existential struggle. In this piece, I have captured a distorted human face, emerging or dissolving in an atmosphere of warm and cool colors that blend in a surreal harmony. The orange, red, and yellow tones evoke the warmth of life, while the blues and greens suggest the coldness of death or melancholy. This face, with cavernous eyes that seem like tunnels to the unknown, expresses despair and anguish, but also a reflection on the human condition in times of crisis.

My intention with "Elegía" is to create a synesthetic experience, where the visual elements invite the viewer to deep meditation on pain and hope, on the finite and infinite. Through the watercolor technique, I sought to achieve a fluidity that allows one to immerse oneself in a profound emotional journey, capturing the essence of the human condition in a powerful and evocative image.
